Joyce Marie Hatley

Joyce Hatley, 94, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday February 14, 2025. Services will be scheduled for a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Joyce was born on November 28, 1930 in Muleshoe to Delbert and Della Newman.

She was a loving and caring wife and mother. Joyce spent many years serving in the church alongside her husband, Marvin. She loved making pies for friends and family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Marvin Hatley; one daughter, Sherry Marie Hatley; one son, James Ronald Hatley and seven brothers.

Survivors include her daughter, Renee Burgess and husband Eddie of Amarillo; one daughter in law, Paula Hatley; one brother, Dale Newman also of Amarillo; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
