Jr Blanchard

JR Blanchard, 29, of Amarillo, passed away on November 24, 2021. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday December 01, 2021 at Crossroads Country Church, 14425 Farm to Market Rd 1541 with Pastor Bob Miller officiating. JR will be available for viewing on Tuesday November 30th at the funeral home from 12:00 – 8:00 PM. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

JR was born on February 04, 1992 in Amarillo. He graduated from Randall High School in 2011. JR enjoyed playing golf, fishing and spending as much time with his family as possible; they were his life. He loved his friends and could light up a room with his wonderful smile, He loved to make people laugh. JR was a polite young man who always treated others with respect. He was helpful to everyone and maintained a selfless attitude throughout his life. If you needed help JR was always there for you. He loved to travel and did so all around the country, he could be referred to as a natural born adventurer. He was loved by so many, and will be missed.

JR was preceded in death by his “Granny”, Joyce Dyer.

Survivors include his mother and father, Mistie and Justin Anderson of Amarillo; one sister, Shatell Dyer of Canyon; grandparents, Ron and Jo Dyer of Canyon; two aunts, Deana Billeter and husband Scott of Amarillo and Terrie Christophersen of Mount Vernon; three nephews, Kade, Pistol and Hagen. Survivors also include a host of cousins and extended family members.
