Juan Noriega, 45, of Amarillo, died Thursday, January 2, 2020. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Juan was born February 22, 1974 in Amarillo. He worked for IBP, and also worked in construction as a builder, roofer, and landscaper. Juan was a talented sketch artist, and was a member of Turning Point Nazarene Church. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Noriega. Survivors include a daughter, Tiffany Noriega of Clovis, NM; two sons, Mark Noriega and Juan Noriega both of Amarillo; his parents, Ruth and Abel Villagran of Amarillo; three brothers, Fernando Noriega and wife Vanessa of Amarillo, Mario Olguin and wife Tammy of Austin, and Johnnie Pruitt and wife Amy of Walkertown, NC; two sisters, Monica Zuniga and husband Roman, and Maricruz Boothby and husband Jeremy all of Amarillo; and three grandchildren, Majestic Gallegos, Joseph King Gallegos, and Jianna Noriega. The family suggests memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, at www.cancer.org.
