Juanda Funderburg Hare

November 6, 1929 — May 21, 2016

Mrs. Hare was born on November 6, 1929 in Stanton to Albert and Louise McClusky. She was a graduate of Amarillo High School. She married Alton Hare in August 1982 in Amarillo. She worked as a bookkeeper for several different businesses and also owned and maintained rental property. Her favorite job was that of being a wife, mother and homemaker. She loved taking care of her children and kids in the neighborhood. She was a long time member of the First Baptist Church where she was active in the music ministry and loved being a part of the Living Christmas Tree for many years. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Royce Lilly and Jack Funderburg as well as her parents. She is survived by her husband Alton Hare of Amarillo, Two sons, Rodney Lilly and wife Carol of Amarillo and Jack Funderburg Jr. and wife Rhonda of Hedley, One daughter, Laura Wright and husband Gerald of Amarillo and one stepdaughter, Jill Miller of Mexia, 2 step-sons, Michael Hare and wife Dana of Dallas and Ted Hare and wife Terri of San Antonio and adopted by love daughter, Diane Champeau and husband Danny of Burnett. 18 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Khiva Shrine Travel Fund, 305 SE 5th Ave., Amarillo, Texas 79101
