Juanita Turner

Juanita Turner, 79, of Amarillo, died Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home - Benton Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive with Chaplain Ken Branum officiating. Juanita was born June 10, 1938 in Golden, Texas to O.F. and Lorene Sellers. She graduated from Dumas High School in 1956. She earned her BSN at Texas Christian University in 1960. Juanita moved to Amarillo in 1976. She went on to earn her MBA in healthcare administration from Wayland Baptist University in 1988. She worked for Northwest Texas Hospital, BSA Hospital, and Owens Corning. She was active at the Amarillo Botanical Gardens for many years. Juanita was preceded in death by her parents, and by two brothers, Howard Moore, and Pete Moore. She is survived by a son, Mike Turner of Houston; a daughter, Stephanie Koiner and husband Clint of Sanger; and two grandchildren, Tyler Denison, and Kristyn Denison.
