Judia Ann Clay Cadenhead, 75, of Amarillo, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2021, at her home in Amarillo, Texas. No services are scheduled at this time.
Judia was born November 23, 1945 in Shamrock, Texas to Chauncie D. Clay and Imogene Beaty Clay. After graduating high school, Judia married Ernest “Bud” Cadenhead, and they made their home in Shamrock while raising two sons.
Judia was preceded in death by her husband; both her parents; and a brother, Paul D. Clay.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest Cadenhead of Amarillo, and Barry Cadenhead and wife Carol of Dumas; grandchildren, Braden Cadenhead of Dumas, Bridgett of San Angelo, TX; four siblings, Larry Clay and wife Joan of Kermit, TX, Cindy Tallant and husband Johnny, Claudia McCaslin and husband Gene all of Canyon, and Virginia White of Amarillo; and many nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations may be made to your favorite charities.
