Judy Harrison, 73, of Amarillo, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021. Memorial services will be 10:00 AM Friday, March 12, 2021 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Dr. Buddy Young officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Judy was born November 23, 1947 in Amarillo, Texas to Wayne and Margaret Warren. She attended Palo Duro High School, where she met the love of her life, Jep Harrison. The couple was married on July 16, 1965 in Amarillo. Judy dedicated her life to caring for her family. She owned and operated Active Drug Screen with her daughter, Jerri. In her spare time, Judy enjoyed going to the lake. She liked to camp out and fish. She was an avid reader and a talented painter. She enjoyed baking, doing crochet, and going to casinos. Most importantly, family was everything to Judy. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. They were her world. She looked forward to going to family reunions, where she would get to see her extended family. Judy will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Jep Harrison; and a sister, Nancy Kropog. Survivors include two daughters, Jerri McCandless and husband John, and Julynda Jeffries all of Amarillo; two sons, Jep Harrison and wife Tanya of Sallisaw, OK, and Jody Harrison all of Amarillo; a brother, Butch Warren of Amarillo; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews who adored her. The family suggests memorials may be made to BSA Hospital.
