Judy Gail Miller Davis

Judy was born on December 23, 1941 in Memphis, TX to Bill and Marilea Miller. She was raised in Memphis, where she graduated from Memphis High School in 1959. She then married Don Davis on December 19, 1959. The two of them were a testament of true love, commitment and friendship and enjoyed life together for over 55 years. They moved to Amarillo, where they became members of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church in 1974. Judy was a gifted musician, playing the organ as well as the piano. She served her church with this gift in the music ministry for over 30 years. Her church family was an important part of her life as well as her many lifelong friends and her classmates from Memphis. Judy was a loving wife and mother as well as a doting "Mimi" to her grandchildren and a close friend to many. She is survived by her husband, Don Davis of Amarillo; son, Wade Davis and wife Lori of Corpus Cristi; daughter, Lea Faris and husband L.T. of Amarillo; 4 grandchildren, Taylor Martin, Jordan Faris, Ashton Davis and Jerrod Davis and her nephew, Jay Morrison of Amarillo. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Sue Morrison.
