Julian E. Griego

Julian E. Griego, 78, of Amarillo passed away on Tuesday July 25, 2023. No services are scheduled at this time.

Julian was born in Clovis, New Mexico on September 23, 1944 to Flavio and Fabiola Griego. He worked in construction for the majority of his life. Julian enjoyed traveling especially to California, and New Mexico. He loved to fish and occasionally gamble. Julian loved animals with a passion, especially his beloved cat Gata. He was very well known and respected in his community. Julian would do anything to help someone out. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Julian was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and five brothers.

Julian is survived by two daughters, Claudia Griego and Faviola Young; his sister, Janice Griego; 7 grandchildren; Eric, Destiny, Armondo, Malia, Veronica, Sophia, and Vincent Jr.; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and his beloved fur baby Gata.
