Justin Kem Ingram was born Sept. 25, 1956, in Carlsbad, N.M. He graduated from Carlsbad High School in 1974. He was involved in FFA, was an accomplished Golden Gloves boxer and loved working with horses and mules. Kem also loved being in the mountains and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast in his later years. He resided in Carlsbad, most of his life until the last few years, when he moved to Amarillo. He will be deeply missed by those family and friends who knew his gentle, generous heart.
He was preceded in death by his son, Clinton Ingram; a sister, Cynthia Ingram Griffin; a brother, Kent Ingram: his stepfather, James "Doc" Sartain; and a nephew, Justin Griffin.
He is survived by a daughter, Jaime Ingram of Fort Smith, Ark.; his mother, Naoma Jones Sartain of Amarillo; his father, Jack Ingram of Carlsbad: two brothers, Calvin Sartain and Jimmy Sartain; four grandchildren, Nikki. Sean, Carly and LilyAnn; nine nieces and nephews, and many other family members.
