Kashton Don Pereyra

Kashton Don Pereyra, 4 months, was welcomed into Heaven on Monday, July 20, 2026. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM at Trinity Worship Center, 209 Ave. J SE in Childress. Viewing will be from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at the church. Burial will be at Childress Cemetery.

Kashton was born March 20, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas to Rainy and Gabriel Pereyra, Jr. He was the happiest baby with the biggest, sweetest smile and bright blue eyes. He was a power napper, but when he was awake he was a busy boy. He loved sitting up, watching everything and everyone. He was mesmerized by his dad and loved to watch him. Kashton definitely had a fear of missing out. He loved watching the world around him. He loved when his Mommy and Daddy would talk to him, and he would always talk back to them. He loved when Mommy sang “You Are My Sunshine” to him and when Daddy read books to him. He enjoyed chewing on blankets and pulling hair, and he loved bath time. Tummy time was not his favorite. Kashton had a special way of leaving his mark on everyone he met. Sometimes it was a little spit up or a surprise diaper mishap. Sometimes it was a tiny hand, reaching out to pull your hair, but most often it was his radiant smile that could brighten anyone’s day. Kashton has touched so many lives during his short time on earth, and he will be so missed by his family.

Kashton was greeted in Heaven by his grandparents, Gabriel Pereyra, Sr., Teresa and Fortino Pereyra, Sr., and Bill and Carol Sharp.

Survivors include his parents, Rainy and Gabriel Pereyra; his brother, Kayden James Pereyra; his grandparents, Miles and Christine Pilgrim and Carol and Herb Victory, and Jesse Villa; his great-grandparents, Judith Potts, Billy and Gwena Sharp, and Olga and Fidel Rodriquez; his aunts and uncles, Destinie Wright, Savannah and Felipe Llamas, Kade Maldonado, Maddie Pilgrim, Autumn Pilgrim, Ava Pilgrim, Jaxson Pilgrim, Keith Hinton, Jon Hinton, Kelsey Hinton, Eric and Yazmine Howard, Miranda Wilkinson, Donovan Wilkinson, Mariah Ramirez, Amber Nichole, Andrew Vaughn, Abby Rodriquez and Willow; and his great-aunts and uncles, Tonya and Larry Short, Skylar and Cody Holloway, Denise and Paul Blake, Bob and Denise Dennison, Shannon Loomis, Fortino and Cynthia, Stephanie and Bobby, Liz, and Meil.
