Katherine "Kathy" L. Weber

Katherine L. "Kathy" Weber, 50, of Amarillo, formerly of Arlington, went to be with her Lord on Monday, October 2, 2017. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10:00 am Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, 4100 Coulter St., in Amarillo with Father John Valdez officiating. Services in Arlington will be 2:00 pm Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Moore Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1219 N. Davis Drive, burial will follow. Kathy was born January 19, 1967 in Lubbock, to Robert and Linda Weber, and grew up in Arlington. She attended Key Elementary, Gunn Junior High and Arlington High School, where she was very active in sports. She excelled in softball, soccer and track. After graduating, she went to Texas Tech graduating Magna Cum Laude. She was a member of the Delta Psi Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She continued her education at UT Arlington, attaining her master's degree in social work, becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Counselor. Kathy had an infectious smile and laugh like none other. She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church and a positive in such a negative world. She loved her family and friends, but most of all, her children were her world. She was an active Booster Club member of the Amarillo High School Swim Team and was an extremely loved swim Mom and friend. She will be greatly missed by everyone she touched. She is survived by her children, Andrew M. "Andy" O'Sullivan, Matthew K. O'Sullivan and Gretchen J. O'Sullivan all of Amarillo; her parents, Robert Weber and wife Michele of Possum Kingdom, Linda Greene and husband Chuck; a brother, Chris Weber and wife Carrie; a sister, Suzy Landrum and husband Tony; nieces and nephews, Taylor and Kylie Weber and Riley, Jake and Ben Landrum all of Arlington; also surviving her are a host of other family, many extended family and numerous friends, including special cousins, Sue and Maggie.
