Kathleen “Kathy” Faye Cline, a gentle soul beloved by all who knew her, passed peacefully on July 27, 2025, at the age of 79. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 PM Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Journey Church, 9711 FM 2186 in Amarillo
Born on July 20, 1946, in Amarillo, Texas, to Robert Kent and Minnie Ruth (Finley) Cline, Kathleen lived a life full of quiet grace and unwavering devotion to her family. She was the proud mother of Robert Leming and his wife, April, and Jill Hoyler and her husband, Rick. Her legacy lives on in her cherished grandchildren: Macy Ivy and husband Colten, and Katelyn Gross and husband Marcus. She was a doting great-grandmother to Sutton and Cameron Gross, Knoxen and Caison Ivy and a beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen shared a special bond with her sisters: Sharon and spouse, David Watkins, Deanne Cline, Phyllis Buckley, and Pat (Trish) and spouse, Robert Hall. Their memories together were filled with laughter, strength, and unconditional love.
She found joy in life’s simplest treasures—watching birds from her porch, sipping her beloved Coca-Cola, and delighting in butterflies. Her deep devotion to God was expressed through her quiet strength and gratitude, and through her many years singing in the Paramount Terrace Church Choir.
Her gentle nature, unwavering love, and warm smile will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
The family welcomes memorial donations to Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas ( www.cactx.org ) in lieu of flowers.
