Katie was born on July 16, 1944 in Craig, Alaska to John and Marie Edenso. She was part of the Tlingit Tribe and the Sealaska Tribe. Katie was proud of her Native American heritage. She married Gary Guill in Sam Houston Park on September 28, 2012. Katie loved the outdoors, deer, horses and even skunks from a distance. Katie and Gary loved to go camping at Quartz Mountain State Park in Oklahoma with family and friends. She enjoyed preparing meals for the camping trips for any and all that were there. Katie enjoyed going out to eat, especially at China Star and El Manantial. She enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, and taking care of people she cared about. Katie gave the extra effort and went above and beyond in taking care of the people she loved. She gave herself and her time to the ones she holds near and dear. Katie was very proud of her family, being a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and even a great-great grandmother. She was a kindred spirit to many that knew her. A legacy to be proud of.
