Kay Hatfield

Kay Hatfield, 68, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, January 9, 2018. Celebration of Life services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at New Testament Christian Church, 1502 SE 8th Ave. with Pastor Mark Cobb officiating. Kay was born June 6, 1949 in Claude. She worked as a Certified nurse's aide for 20 years, most of which were at St. Anne's Nursing Home in Panhandle. She retired in 2010. She was a member of New Testament Christian Church. Kay enjoyed working crossword puzzles, and loved watching wrestling and westerns on TV. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Carol Ferguson; and two brothers, Aaron Hatfield, and Gary Hatfield. Survivors include a son, Bobby Eddleman and wife Micheal of Amarillo; two daughters, Sandra "Sissy" Lovell, and Evelyn "Scooter" Chapman and husband Johnny all of Claude; two sisters, Virgie Dale Clark of Amarillo, and Shelia Hatfield of Memphis; four brothers, Roger Hatfield and wife Donna, Ray Hatfield, Darrell Hatfield, and Michael Hatfield all of Claude; and six grandchildren.
