Kelley Wynne

November 28, 1950 — December 27, 2016

Kelley was born in Shreveport, LA on November 28, 1950 to L.R. and Margie Wynne. The family moved to Texas in 1951. Kelley worked for Dairy Queen and United Supermarket on Bell St. He was very involved in Special Olympics. He was a runner in the state Special Olympics in Austin. Most recently, he competed in a bowling tournament in November. He was an avid fan of professional wrestling. Kelley never met a stranger. He was a very happy and content person. He very much enjoyed sitting out in front of his house, listening to his music, and waving to all of his friends and neighbors as they passed by. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Survivors include his mother, Margie Wynne of Amarillo; two brothers, Roger Wynne, and Jim Wynne and wife Deborah all of Amarillo; one sister, Shirley Hollan Nolte and husband Dale of Broken Arrow, OK; one niece, Kimberly Hollan; and five nephews, Ron Wynne, Harley Hollan, David Wynne, Collin Wynne, and Dustin Wynne. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Special Olympics, 203 SW 8th Ave #400, Amarillo, TX 79101 or to Friendship Baptist Church, 2400 S. Arthur St. Amarillo, TX, 79103.
