Kelly Don Jackson

Kelly Don Jackson, age 60 of Amarillo passed from this life on December 23, 2022. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM on Thursday December 29, 2022 at Llano Cemetery, 2900 Hayes with Tom Moore officiating.

Kelly was born in Amarillo, TX on December 25th, 1961 to Dale and Peggy Jackson. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1980. He worked for Sears for many years, he could repair just about anything. He obtained his CDL license in the early 2000’s and worked as a transporter for many years.

Kelly was an avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed sports of all kinds. You would always find him checking current scores or watching reruns of the NBA Finals and Big 12 Championships. He particularly loved the Los Angeles Lakers and the Texas Longhorns, Hook ‘em Horns! He shared his love of sports with his son Koby from an early age, he never missed a game. Kelly was a kind, generous, and loving man with a tremendous heart.

Kelly is preceded in death by his father Dale Jackson; brother Timmy Jackson and sister in law Susan Jackson.

Kelly is survived by his son Koby Jackson and wife Kim; daughter Britney Peoples and husband Trevor; daughter Jory Law and husband Ben; 8 grandchildren; mother Peggy Krebbs and husband Leland; brother Rodney Jackson; many nieces, nephews and friends.
