Kendra was a member of Temple Baptist Church where her husband, James is the Minister of Music and was a great support to him in ministry.  Among her interests, she enjoyed watching westerns, crime shows, the People’s Court, Judge Judy, Cops and Medical reality shows.  She also enjoyed Scrapbooking.

Kendra loved her husband James and their children Caitlin and Benjamin.  She also treasured her nieces and nephews and especially her great nieces and nephews.  Kendra blessed and brought great joy to them at Christmas with personalized gifts.  They knew her as “Personalization Aunt Kendra”!

It was at Uvalde Baptist Church in Houston that Kendra and James met.  She was in his choir where they became friends and eventually went on their first date September 1, 1995.  They were married July 13, 1996 even though Kendra dreamed of marrying a tall, good-looking man.  (Oh well, you don’t always get what you want in life.)  Speaking of James, Kendra would always tell people, “somebody had to marry him”.

Above all Kendra loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in whom she placed her faith and trust at 17.
