Kenneth "Kenny" Walker

Kenneth “Kenny” Walker, 72, of Amarillo, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2023. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 30, 2023 at Llano Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, with Lisa Bradshaw, Care Director at Hillside Christian Church officiating.

Kenny was born December 12, 1950 in Amarillo, Texas to Juanita and Karl “Sonny” Walker, Sr. He graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1968. He worked for Asarco as a maintenance mechanic for 37 years, retiring in 2014. Kenny was a hard-working man who worked with his hands every day. He enjoyed working on cars, fixing things and doing renovations. In his spare time, he loved doing anything outdoors, including hunting, fishing and camping. Kenny had a great sense of humor and kept everyone laughing. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Karl Walker, Jr.

Survivors include two daughters, Alisha Walker and Adrianna Stamps and husband Jordan all of Amarillo; and a granddaughter, Marlowe Walker.
