Kevin Plunk

Kevin Plunk, 60, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, October 6, 2021. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive, with Chaplain Ken Branum officiating. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at the Stratford Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.

Kevin was born July 26, 1961 in Dumas, Texas to Dwayne and Glenda Plunk. He was a proud Stratford Elk, lettering in band and football. He played the tuba in the band, and was also active in baseball and basketball. He attended Amarillo College. Kevin worked for the Parks and Recreation department of the City of Amarillo. In his spare time, he enjoyed camping, fishing and hunting.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne Plunk.

Survivors include his son, Scot Plunk of Amarillo; his mother, Glenda Clarke of Amarillo; his sister, LeRenda Mayes and husband Sammie of Amarillo; his brother, Wade Plunk of Amarillo; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
