Kimberly Boyd

Kimberly Boyd, 63, of Amarillo, passed away on Friday October 23, 2020. No services are scheduled at this time. Kim was born April 23, 1957 in Amarillo. She graduated from Palo Duro High School. She owned and operated her own business as a nail tech for many years. While Kim was growing up, her family moved around a lot due to her father’s military service. This inspired a very adventurous spirit in her. Kim loved the outdoors and all animals, especially birds, dogs, and exotic fish. She had a thirst for learning about people’s differing thoughts, ideas, and lifestyles. She enjoyed cars of all kinds, and was a talented artist. Kim was preceded in death by her parents, Wayne Robbins and Frances Robbins; her husband, Doug Boyd; and a sister, Becky Robbins. Survivors include two sons, Gene Hurst III and wife Lindsay, and Blake Hurst and wife Lauren all of Amarillo; three brothers, Mark Robbins, Kevin Robbins, and Jerry Robbins all of Pompano Beach, FL; and seven grandchildren, Lauren, Haley, Oliver, Lucas, Jake, Brooke, and Kendall.
