Ladonna Dayle Madden

July 5, 1951 — October 20, 2015

LaDonna was born on July 5, 1951 in Amarillo to Allen and Anna Bell Matthews. She was raised in Quitaque, where she attended schools and graduated high school. She then attended Amarillo College where she received her license as a Vocational Nurse. LaDonna married James Madden in 1981 in Albuquerque. He preceded her in death in 1988. She worked at the Clemments Unit for over 22 years as a LVN. LaDonna will be remembered by others as being a strong, loving, independent and sometimes stubborn woman. She is survived by her son, George Samples and wife Michelle of Amarillo; 2 daughters, Amanda Garcia and husband Wally of Dumas and Johnanna Bain of Broken Arrow, OK; 7 grandchildren, Garrick Bain, Daegan Bain, Miracle "Sweet Cheeks" Garcia, James "Baby Boy" Garcia, Cymbra Riley, Cye Samples and Caitlin "Caty K" Samples; her beloved dog, Sam; many nieces and nephews and sisters of her heart, Joetta Wood, Joyce Matthews and Judy Turner. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James Madden and sister, Yvonne Walters.
