Lane Eric Thomas

Lane was born on December 18, 1994 in Amarillo to Eric and Lee Ann Thomas. He attended school in Canyon, graduating from Canyon High School in 2013. He was very academically gifted and graduated with Technical Honors. He proudly worked alongside his father learning the business as a horseshoer. Recently, Lane had begun to surpass even his father in his talent as a farrier. Lane had a passion for riding. Whether it was horses during his childhood or motorcycles in his later years, he loved to ride! He had always expressed to others that he felt free and nothing else mattered when he rode. His friends and family will always remember his spontaneous free spirit. He is survived by his parents, Eric and Lee Ann Thomas of Amarillo; his fiancé, Brittany Nichole Howard of Amarillo; grandparents, Bettie Smith of Amarillo and Daniel R. and Ima Gene Thomas of Grandview, TX.
