Larry Phillips

Larry Phillips, 74, of Amarillo passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018. There are no services scheduled at this time. Larry was born February 6, 1944 in Cooper, Texas to Leon and Perlene Phillips. Larry honorably served his country in The United states Army as a helicopter pilot. He enjoyed riding horses and all types of ranch work. Larry took pleasure in aggravating everyone he knew and loved. He loved being a cowboy and riding the feed yards. Larry will be remembered as a loving father, brother and Grandpa Larry. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son, Michael Phillips; daughter, Jodi Phillips; a bonus daughter, Kathy Otterstein and husband Bruce; sisters, Betty Hankins and Judy Smauley; brothers, Lester Phillips and wife Trudy, Lonnie Phillips and wife Debra and J.D. Phillips and wife Marcia; his loving best friend, Becky Sinks; two grandchildren, Ashley and Logan Felmlee; two bonus grandchildren, Brooklyn and Alex Otterstein and granny mom, Billie West.
