Laura Lee Tidwell

Laura Lee Tidwell, 51, of Amarillo, died Monday, February 4, 2019. Graveside services will be 2:00 pm Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery. Laura was born November 15, 1967 in Canyon to Gary and Lou Ann Shell. She attended Amarillo High School. She married Sam Tidwell on December 7, 1991 in Canyon. Laura adored her family. She devoted her life to taking excellent care of her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and mowing. She was an avid reader. Laura will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Sam Tidwell; a son, Zachary Tidwell and wife Brandi of Amarillo; a daughter, Kallie Schuchart and husband Dillan of Amarillo; a sister, Tracy Chilleli of Chehalis, WA; a brother, John Pruitt and wife Denese of Amarillo; and five grandchildren, Marley, Presley, Tinzley, Lane, and Elle.
