Leroy Lovett

Leroy was born March 23, 1931 in Snake Ridge, LA to Pauline and William Lovett. He grew up in Pennsylvania and joined the army in 1952. After an honorable discharge, he moved to Amarillo. He worked many years at The Globe Manufacturing Company and 23 years at Universal Lumber, where he met the love of his life, Lou. He started L & L Building Supply in 1979 and retired in 2008. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Marlene Schwab, Toddy Lovett and Joe Lovett. SURVIVORS: He is survived by the love of his life, Lou; children, Karen Singo, Joyce Naylor and husband Bruce, Rick Lovett and Jo, Roy Lovett and Wife Lynda, Randy Lovett, Danny Paxton, Barbara Black and Lonnie Lovett and wife Samantha; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a brother, Wick Lovett; a sister, Imogene Stout and the family dogs, Gretchen and Duke.
