Linda Carol Calahan

Linda Carol Calahan, 72, of Amarillo, passed into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 in Amarillo. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, June 8, 2023 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. with Pastor Dale Moreland officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Linda was born on June 22, 1950 in Amarillo to Bonnie and Herman Graham. Linda went to Floydada High School where she met her high school sweetheart, Jerry Glenn Calahan. They married on January 3, 1970 and spent 51 wonderful years together. Linda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She had an easy going personality and was a very agreeable person. Linda enjoyed sewing for a time and also cross stitch. Often she could be found watching her favorite soap opera. Linda was dedicated to her son, Michael; All throughout his life, she has been on the sidelines cheering him on. She was always his biggest fan.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jerry Calahan;

Survivors include her son; Michael Calahan and his wife Andrea of Amarillo; two grandsons, Austin and Caleb Calahan; one sister, Kathy Ross and husband Dennis; one brother, Ronnie Graham and wife Jill all of Floydada; Survivors also include a host of nieces, nephews and a handful of extended family members.
