Linda Sue Janes

Linda was born on August 6, 1940 in Amarillo to Al and Marjorie Smith. She was raised in Hereford, graduating from Hereford High School in 1957. She then attended West Texas A& M, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She taught Kindergarten for several years before devoting her life to caring for her family. Linda married Jimmie Janes in April of 1962 in Hereford. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1990. She enjoyed exercising and walking with her friend Jeanie in her free time when she was able. She was a wonderful wife and mother and loved dearly. She is survived by 2 sons, Tony Janes and wife Marti of Lake Tanglewood and Jeffrey Janes of San Francisco; brother, Neely Kimbrough and wife Cathy of Broken Arrow; 2 sisters, Carlie Warren and husband Don of Dimmitt and Patsy Meredith and husband John of Johnson City, Tennessee and her sister-in-law, Sue Caddell and husband Joe of Sundown. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Terry Kosub and her husband Jimmie Janes.
