Linda Parrott

Linda Parrott, 80, of Amarillo, passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2025. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM on Monday, January 20, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery, East Mausoleum Chapel, with Pastor Robby Barrett officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Linda was born on May 14, 1944, in Dalhart to Floyd and Minnie Reeves. She married her sweetheart, Don Parrott, on February 18, 1968, in Amarillo. Together, Don and Linda celebrated 53 years of marriage before Don passed away in 2021. Linda worked as an LVN nurse for 38 years with St. Anthony’s Hospital and later when they became Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital. She was a long-standing member of Oasis Church.

Linda enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family. She could often be found looking at different road maps and making travel plans. She would also be found singing to Troy, “Little Rabbit Foo Foo,” a favorite song among the family. She treasured her two children and consistently put her full trust in Jesus.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don Parrott.

Survivors include her son, Troy Parrott; her daughter, Donna Savage, both of Amarillo; two grandchildren, Kassie Savage and Adam Savage; two great-grandchildren, Mason Perez and Easton Perez.
