Linda Quillin

Linda was born on September 2, 1949 in Amarillo to Dale and Billie Brauchi. She was raised in Amarillo, where she graduated from Amarillo High School in 1967. She then attended West Texas State, where she received her Bachelor's Degree in Education with a Minor in Music. She married Dale Quillin on June 6, 1970 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death on July 9, 2011. Linda was a sought out piano instructor for many years, always instructing at least 20 students at a time. She was a devoted member of Temple Baptist Church and served in many capacities including the church pianist, handbell choir director, Sunday School Teacher, Women's Ministry leader, Youth worker and the Praise Team. She enjoyed camping, gardening and feeding the birds. Most of all, Linda was passionate about her family. She loved nothing more than being "Nanny" to her grandchildren. She is survived by her 2 sons, Brian Quillin and Brent Quillin and wife Ashley; grandson, Wyatt Quillin, all of Amarillo; brother, Randy Brauchi and wife Marcy of Missouri City; sister, Lisa McNutt and husband Scott of Amarillo; nephew, Cody Quillin of San Angelo; niece, Leila Scarborough and husband Chris of Amarillo; great nephew, Maverick Mason of Amarillo; brother and sister-in-law, Eddie and Sue Quillin and her beloved dog, Dora. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Dale Quillin.
