Linda C. Stiles

Linda was born on October 26, 1941 in Haskell to Raymond and Omega Ammons. She moved to Amarillo as a child, where she graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1959. She married Frankie Lee Stiles in 1971 in Calipatria, CA. He preceded her in death in 2007. Linda worked in the oil and gas industry for many years in such places as Santa Fe Energy, Riatta Energy, Mesa Petroleum and eventually retiring from Range Resources in 2012. She enjoyed traveling with her family to the beach and spending time at their lake home in Clarendon as well as cooking and watching her grandbabies. She is survived by 3 daughters, Pam Auten and husband Robert of Fort Worth, Christi Cornell of Dallas and Donna Vogel and husband Curt of Round Rock; son, Frankie Lee Stiles, Jr. of Big Spring; 4 sisters, Glenda Wilde of Amarillo, Judy Robertson and husband Don of Amarillo, Peggy Derryberry and husband Ray of Arlington and Carol Edwards and husband John of Lewisville; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
