Lora Etta Harris

February 9, 1939 — February 2, 2015

Lora was born on February 9, 1939 in Willow, OK to J.W. and Oma Mangum. She moved to Texas as a child and was raised in Panhandle. She married Ben Harris in August of 1967 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death in 2005. Lora worked at Amarillo Globe News for close to 5 years. She was an avid bingo player and loved tending to her flowers and garden at home. She also was an Avid Dallas Cowboys fan. Most of all, Lora loved her family. She was a devoted mother and a devoted "Grandma Etta" to her grandchildren. She is survived by 3 daughters, Charresa Manning and husband Jimmy of Amarillo, Raelene Smith and husband Curtis of Hereford and Jaynetta Warren and husband Landon of Plainview; son, Rick Harris and wife Debbie of Rivera; brother, Rick Mangum and Sharon of Amarillo; 9 grandchildren, Apryl Jolas, Aaron Warden, Kip Smith, Curt Smith, Carla Gordon, Jaylan Warren, Jalynna Blackwell, Jodie Suchecki and Stacie Anderson and 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben Harris; sister, Lorraine Pool and 2 daughters, Elysia Ellsworth and DeLynna Harris.
