Loretta Jean Atkinson-Manzer

Loretta was born on September 16, 1944 in Tucson, AZ to Amos and Ruthie Forbes. She resided in Amarillo from 1972 - 1988, returning in 1997. Loretta married Steven Manzer on March 15, 2013 in Amarillo. She worked in home health most of her life. In her free time, she enjoyed reading mysteries and westerns as well as sewing and gardening. She is survived by her husband, Steven Manzer of Amarillo; son, Daniel Atkinson of Sacremento, CA; son, Matthew Atkinson of Nashville, TN and her brother, Alton Lee Forbes of Amarillo. She was preceded in death by her parents: son, Douglas Adam Atkinson; brother, Raymond Dewey Forbes; sister, Evelyn Paxton and her first husband, David Ray Atkinson.
