Louis "Red" Chedester Ii

Louis “Red” Chedester II, 80, of Amarillo, passed away on May 23, 2023. Graveside services will be 10:00am Friday, May 26, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Buddy Young officiating.

Red was born on December 2, 1942 to L.D and Norris Chedester. He received his bachelors and masters in science and was an entomologist for several years. Red was a simple man who in his spare time enjoyed going to the casino and was always a big winner. He will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Red was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors include his son, Steven and wife Lisa of Amarillo, a handful of grandchildren, and extended family and close friends.
