Lupe Maria Ynojosa

Lupe Maria Ynojosa, 77, of Amarillo, passed away on Saturday December 10, 2022. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday December 16, 2022 at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Dr. Lupe will lie in state on Thursday December 15, 2022 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home, for anyone who wishes to pay their respects. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Lupe was born on October 23, 1945 in San Angelo, Texas. She married her husband, Pete Ynojosa at a young age and they soon moved to the Amarillo area. Lupe enjoyed playing her bingo, and getting a scratch off whenever she could. She always had a bright sense of humor and enjoyed helping others. Lupe took great care for her family, and always made sure her children and grandchildren were provided for and looked after. She took great comfort from helping others, and was always there when someone was in need. She was loved by so many, and will be missed.

Lupe was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Ynojosa.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three sons; Pete Ynojosa (Beverly), Richard Ynojosa and Robert Ynojosa (Tammy); two daughters, Diane Ynojosa and Kristina Tijerina; eleven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
