Madalyn "Arlene" Roberts

Ms. Roberts was born April 18, 1925 in Grand Rapids, Mich. to Louis and Mary Ruth Clair. She has been in Amarillo since 1946, when she married Oliver "Bennie" Roberts. She was employed at the Santa Fe Credit Union for many years. Arlene enjoyed tap and ballroom dancing at the Senior Citizens, and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She was also a member of Forest Hill United Methodist Church. Survivors include three daughters, Susan Fennel and husband David, Ruth Roberts all of Amarillo, and Donna Hamon of Oklahoma City, OK; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver "Bennie" Roberts; a grandson, Bennie Cunningham; and a great-grandson, Aaron Green; two brothers; and two sisters.
