Malachi Sotelo

Malachi Sotelo, 7, of Amarillo passed away on Monday July 26, 2021 in Amarillo. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM Friday July 30, 2021 at Llano Cemetery with Rev. Corky Holland officiating. Malachi will be available for viewing on Thursday July 29, 2021 from 1:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Malachi was born on August 17, 2013 in Amarillo to Breena Sotelo and Anthony Sotelo. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed the water. Malachi enjoyed music and spent his free time watching his nature shows. He liked to dance and just be a goofy, carefree and loving kid. He was loved by so many and will be missed.

Survivors include his mother, Breena Sotelo; his father, Anthony Sotelo; one brother, Hunter Maul all of Amarillo; grandparents; Wade Maul and Trish Maul of Pampa, Cep Sotelo of Lubbock and Kristi Noble of Amarillo; Survivors also include a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family and friends.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the BSA Hospital nursing staff for the care they received. Specifically to Dr. Nandu, and Malachi’s home healthcare nurses, Wendy Carnero and Stephanie Hernandez.
