Marcella L. Staffan

Marcella L. Staffan, 96, of Pampa, died Thursday, April 16, 2020. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Drive. Burial will be at Llano Cemetery. Marcie was born May 26, 1923 in Custer Park, Illinois. She married L. Dean Staffan on November 19, 1951 in Joliet, Illinois. She has lived in Texas for 30 years. She moved to Pampa in 1999. Marcie loved studying genealogy, and was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Pampa. She also enjoyed collecting cardinals. Marcie adored her great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dean Staffan; a brother, Wayne Sorensen; and two sisters, Mabel Cramer and Helen Stella. Survivors include a daughter, Sherri Pollock and husband Doug of Pampa; a son, Craig Staffan and wife Sandy of San Antonio; a sister, Rita Anderson of Wenatchee, WA; a granddaughter, Cyndi Hudson and husband Lynn of McLean; a step-grandson, John Carrithers of Killeen; and two great-grandchildren, Devin Mahorney and Parker Mahorney.
