Margie K. Richardson, 72, of Amarillo, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 PM Friday at Cox-Rowley Funeral Home, 4180 Canyon Drive.

Margie was born December 26, 1949 in Ft. Worth, Texas to Nancy Richardson. She graduated from Stinnett High School. She worked as a telephone operator for SWBT, later AT&T for 26 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed travelling, dancing, gambling and gardening. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan.

She was preceded in death by her mother; two brothers, Jimmy Richardson and Terry Richardson; and her brother-in-law, Calvin Costley.

Survivors include her daughter, Andee Mayhew and husband Neil of Amarillo; two sons, Scott Walton and wife Brandy, and Michael Walton all of Amarillo; her sister, Karen Sue Costley of Borger; nine grandchildren, Austin Talmo, Jacie Talmo, Chloe Mayhew, Ashley Walton, Gabe Walton, Ethan Walton, Brendon Walton, Kaleb Walton, and Devin Walton; and three great-grandchildren, Ryder, Emberly, and Hadlee.

The family suggests memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
