Mary Kurtz Darling Woollard

Mary Kurtz Darling Woollard, 102, of Amarillo, passed from this earth on October 6, 2017. A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Ware Living Center, 400 SW 14th Ave, with Chaplain Darrell Burton officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Cox Funeral Home. Mary was born in Groom, February 23, 1915 to George and Clara Kurtz. She attended Groom schools, until relocating to Amarillo, where she spent the remainder of her life. She married Paul Darling and they had one daughter, Pauline. Mary worked in retail sales most of her life. Both Paul and Pauline preceded her in death, along with her parents, four brothers, and three sisters. She later married Burt Woollard, who also precedes her in death. She is survived by a son-in-law, Herb McDougall of Centralia, WA; numerous nieces, nephews and special friend, Mary Lou Sublett.
