Mary Dunlap

Mary Dunlap, 95, of Amarillo, passed away on October 29, 2024. Private Family Graveside Services will be held on Friday November 1, 2024 at Llano Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday October 31, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Mary was born on July 6, 1929 in Garner, Texas to Loren and Vera Davis. She worked for more than 20 years with Bomber Bait Lure Co. in Gainesville, TX; she retired in 1994. Mary loved to read and enjoyed word puzzles. Before Bill passed away on February 16, 2014, Mary and Bill rode motorcycles across the United States, visiting all but two states.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bill Dunlap; one daughter, Brenda Dyer; a son in law, Billy Dyer; one grandson, Craig Dyer.

Survivors include her three daughters, Laura Bergmann and husband David, Rose Ingerson and husband John and Becky Garcia and husband Danny all of Amarillo; three grandchildren, Ben Ingerson and wife Micah of Amarillo, Jordan Kang and husband June of San Antonio, and Mathew Day of Pampa; two sisters, Faye Waldrep of Breckenridge, TX, Lorene Hamilton of Claremore, Oklahoma; one brother, JL Davis and wife Barbara of Chandler, AZ.

The family wishes to thank BSA Hospice and Landmark Nursing home for the love and care shown to Mary.
