Mary Lyon Glover, 63, of Amarillo, died Tuesday, September 26, 2017. Memorial Services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 2, 2017 at Cox Funeral Home, with Pastor Travis Bennett of Arena of Life Church officiating. Mary was born October 18, 1953 in Whittier, California to Emmett and Helen Lyon. She graduated from Whittier High School. Mary started her career as a cosmetologist. She later became a bank officer, then went on to work for Brandes Investment Partners in Encinitas, California as an event planner. She retired in 2012 and moved to Amarillo. Mary was a member and served on the board of directors of the International Order of Job's Daughters. Following her divorce from her first husband Carl, Mary remained very close with the Beyer family. She was very family oriented. Mary had a lot of friends, and very much enjoyed helping other people. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Carl Beyer, her second husband, Paul Glover and a son, Trevor Bell. Survivors include a daughter, Crystal Marie Latham and husband Scott of Amarillo; a brother, Paul Emmett Lyon of Whittier, CA; and four grandchildren, Kaylee Fulton, Logan Fulton, Wyatt Fulton, Donovan Latham. The family suggests memorial donations be made to Panhandle Breast Health Coalition, 301 S. Polk St., Suite 740, Amarillo, TX 79101.
