Mary Pullum

Mary Pullum, 83, of Amarillo, walked into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 23, 2025. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Saturday, March 1, 2025, at South Georgia Baptist Church, with Pastor Mike Martin and Karen Wells officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 28, 2025, at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Mary was born on February 17, 1942, in Claude to Louis and Mariam Baker. She married her husband, LeRoy, on November 26, 1960, in Hedley. Together, she and LeRoy have celebrated 64 years of marriage. Mary worked for SPS for 42 years; she started as a clerk typist and worked her way up to corporate secretary. She was a dedicated employee and loved investing in her career until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of South Georgia Baptist Church here in Amarillo.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Marvin Baker.

Survivors include her husband, LeRoy Pullum of the home; two brothers, Billy Baker and David and Patricia Baker; one brother-in-law, Sammy and Jeanne Pullum of Amarillo. Survivors also include numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
