Maryann Bedard-Puska

Mary Ann Bedard-Puska, 54, of Amarillo, passed away Sunday, April 8, 2018. Memorial services will be 2:00 pm Wednesday at Cox Funeral Home Chapel, 4180 Canyon Dr. A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at The Avenbury Lakes Lodge 35400 Middleton Drive, Avon, Ohio. MaryAnn was born July 24, 1963 in Cleveland, Ohio to David and Kathryn Bedard. She graduated from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio with honors. She moved to Los Angeles, Calif. in 1981, where she worked as a producer in television and film. In 1989, she moved back to Cleveland, where she owned and operated Visionary Management. MaryAnn moved to St. Louis in 1996. She was working as an IT Analyst there, when she met the love of her life, Denis Puska. They met in 1998, and married on March 17, 2000 in Kapuskasing Ontario, Canada. They moved to Amarillo in 2001, where she continued to work as a business consultant. MaryAnn was dedicated to higher learning. Her focus of study was centered around the study of psychology. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, Denis J. Puska of Amarillo; two sisters, Brenda Bedard and Molly Hamel of Cleveland, OH; her brother, David Bedard and wife Janet McIntyre of Milan, OH; a niece, Rebecka Bedard of Milan, OH; and a nephew, Collin Bedard and wife Gabrielle of Milan, OH.
