Matthew "Gus" Remy

Matthew Gus Remy was born November 19, 1962 in Omaha, Nebraska to Jim and Phyl Remy. Gus knew how to live life fully, and brought laughter and joy to his friends and family. He never met a stranger, and was loved by all who knew him. He enjoyed "trash-talking" his opponents on the golf course, could build and repair anything with his own two hands, and dreamed of being the rock star to beat all. Survivors include his wife, Sharon Remy and her son, Alex Witt; his son, Drake Remy; his daughter, Brandy Remy; his father, Jim Remy; two sisters, Liz Mayes and spouse David, and Jill Remy and spouse Tami; one brother, Tom Remy and spouse Kacy; two nieces, Annabelle and Brooklyn; and one nephew, Benjamin. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyl Remy; and by his step-son, Sebastian. The family suggests memorials be made to a music ministry of your choice.
