Matthew Allen Thomason

Matthew was born May 23, 1984 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Roger and Marsha Thomason. He attended schools in Muskogee, OK before transferring to Paducah High School in Texas, where he graduated in 2002. A true outdoorsmen, he loved to hunt, fish and target shoot. He liked ranching, livestock and all outdoor activities, but the love of his life was his daughter, Landry. He enjoyed being a daddy, spending all his time and energy with her. He was a member of Friends and Family Worship Center, volunteered at Cornerstone Outreach Center and worked with Randall County as a heavy equipment operator. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Wendella Thomason and Dovey Stone; Geri Russell and grandfather, Loyel Russell; and by his uncle, Bobby Thomason. He is survived by his Daughter, Landry of Canyon; his mother, Marsha Leslie and husband Rick of Amarillo; his father, Roger Thomason and wife Susan of Warner, OK; his siblings, Misty Thomason of Amarillo, Christy Teeples and husband David of Muskogee, OK, Patrick Leslie of Lubbock, Timothy Froncek of Muskogee, OK, and Erick Leslie and wife Haley of Lubbock; also surviving him are his grandfathers, Bob Thomason of Muskogee, OK, Stoney Stone of Sand Springs, OK; his grandmother, Joyce Leslie of Paducah, TX; his nephew, Hunter Thomason of Muskogee, OK; and many other nieces, nephews other family and friends.
