Maxine Wood

Maxine was born on January 15, 1921 in Goodman, MO to John and Essie Howard. She spent most of her childhood living in Kansas City. She married Charles William Wood on March 21, 1946 in Amarillo. He preceded her in death in 1985. Maxine was a talented seamstress and was very detail oriented in all of her projects. She loved watching movies, playing games and was an avid reader. Most of all, Maxine was a devoted wife, mother and friend. She dedicated her life to caring for others. She is survived by her daughter, Jo Beth Green of Amarillo; 2 grandchildren, Karlee Heizer and husband Nathan of Salt Lake City, UT and Roddy Green and wife Jonnie of Abilene; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
