Megan Jackson

Megan Jackson, 37, of Amarillo passed away on Thursday February 17, 2022. Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Monday February 21, 2022 at Llano Cemetery with Pastor Buddy Young officiating. Megan will be available for viewing on Sunday from 12:00 – 5:00 PM at the funeral home. Arrangements are under the direction of Cox-Rowley Funeral Home.

Megan was born on May 28, 1984 in Amarillo to Jimmy and Dava Dunn. She married her husband, Laban Jackson in February of 2012. Megan loved life and was a fighter to the very end. She never wanted to give in to cancer, but in the end she was not able to overcome the fight. Megan was a vivacious and loving person, someone who never gave up on her loved ones and family. She enjoyed music, shopping, collecting name brand handbags and having a good time with her friends. Megan spent her spare time with her family and loving on her dog, “Pablo”. She was a dedicated Daughter, Wife and Mother. She was loved by so many and will be missed.

Megan was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Dunn and her brother, Bryan Lee Dunn.

Survivors include her husband, Laban Jackson of the home; mother, Dava Dunn of Amarillo; two sons, Garrison Lewis Brown of Big Springs and Timothy Brown of Amarillo; three daughters, Layla Brynn Jackson, Jaydie Lynn Dunn and Leah Jackson of Amarillo; one sister, Courtney Ida Spangler and husband Matt and their daughter Brylie Spangler of Amarillo and one grandson, Lachlan Wren Gamblin Brown.
