Michael Jack, 56, of Amarillo, passed away on December 10, 2020 in Amarillo. No services are scheduled at this time. Michael was born July 8, 1964 in Groom to Carolyn and Dwain Jack. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything put in front of him. Michael was an avid hunter and fisherman and also built beautiful Antler lamps. He also spent much of his spare time making Indian artifacts and peace pipes. Michael had a heart for the elderly community around him, and he was always willing to help those in need. He enjoyed teaching and working with children. Michael was an animal lover and enjoyed nature. He especially loved his longhorn, Scruffy and his dog, Bubba. Michael Loved his mother deeply, and watched out for her during some of the most difficult times in her life. He was her rock. Michael was preceded in death by his father, Dwain Jack. Survivors include his mother, Carolyn Jack; one son, Derek Jack of Sonora California; one daughter, Bryana Jack of Tuolumne, California; one step-son, Chris Garrison Princeton, Kentucky; three sisters, Tish Caddell and her husband Scott of Nevada City, California, Doni Jack of Anchorage Alaska, Kelisha Kothe of McLean; one brother, John Hess of Sonora, California. Survivors also include a host of additional family and close friends.
