Michael David Parr

Mike Parr, 29, of Amarillo, died Friday, March 9, 2018. Memorial services will be Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in Cox Funeral Home Benton Chapel. Mike was born July 8, 1988 in Lubbock. He attended Caprock High School. He was an entrepreneur by heart and owned Mike's Tranquil Massage. Mike enjoyed hanging out with his friends, dancing, playing pool and video games. He was an extraordinary father, and a loyal friend. He would give the shirt off his back for anyone in need. Mike could always be seen with a smile on his face. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Bill Parr in 2010. Survivors include his daughter, Angeleigha Parr; father, Bryan Parr and wife Sharilyn; his mother, Kimberly Echols and husband Roy; his brother, Jake Parr and wife Callie; his grandmother, Mayetta Parr; his aunt Tomi Parr and husband Clay Tarpley; his uncle Kyle Pratt and wife Paige and numerous other family and friends.
